problems connecting to iris-d-03

I currently am not able to connect to iris-d-03 from my laptop. I was able
to connect yesterday without problems, and I can connect to both my laptop
and iris-d-03 from another machine. Also, from my laptop I can ping
iris-d-01 and iris-d-02, but not iris-d-03.

When I first noticed the problem this morning I tried deleting the entry
from my /etc/hosts file that I added to get getLocalIP to work, and then I
was able to ping the iris-d-03 machine again. I don't know why I can ping
the other machines, but not d-03.

I need to test my system on two machines, and iris-d-03 was the other Linux
machine I was assigned.
