I think (part of?) the problem I'm having is that Protocol.getLocalIP is
failing to get my real IP. getHostName is returning localhost.localdomain,
and the only address it can get for it is 127.0.0.1. Presumably this is
why it isn't updating DNS.
Any ideas how to fix this?
